Welcome to Sage View Acres

Available Sage View Farm Animals
It's springtime on the farm and that means, BABIES!! We are so excited to be having baby animals born on our farm this year! We took the year off last year as we had just recently moved to our lovely new place and had a lot of work to do just to get moved and set up here.

We missed experiencing the special miracle of birth and life that we enjoy each year and the ongoing joy of furry and feathered little ones romping about the farm. So it is with great joy that we announce the upcoming arrival of BABIES ON THE FARM!
2026 ~ Sage View Babies~ Upcoming
Nigerian Dwarf/Mini Nubian Goats
Starting March
We have a lovely herd of sweet goaties including 4 Nigerian Dwarf Does, 3 Mini Nubians Does, and a Mini Nubian wether. We also have one proven Mini Nubian Billy Goat, our herd buck, Ferdinand.
Our Mini Nubians are cream, brown and black Moonspotted; polled with some blue eyes. Our Nigerian dwarfs are a variety of colors; some polled; some blue eyes. We have bred intentionally for polled, variety of color, proper build, good milking, nice temperament, and ease of kidding in all our goats. Our 2026 kids will all be sired by our Mini Nubian Billy, Ferdinand!

Nigerian Dwarfs and Mini Nubians are great dairy goats. Mini Nubians were originally created from Nubian and Nigerian Dwarf, which brought great milking traits from both breeds and smaller size of the Nigerian, creating a smaller, but still proficient milking breed. We love both of these dairy goat breeds! Friendly; small size; lots of milk!

Sebastapol Geese
April/May
Sebastapol Geese are known for being one of the more friendly, docile breeds of geese. They are beautiful to look at with their unique wavy, flowing feathers, and are most commonly pure white with blue eyes, although they can come in other colors. We love the signature white look.

Due to their smaller size, lack of flight, docile temperament and unique look, they are most often prized pets, and friendly farm fowl. They can be very personable especially if raised by hand. Sebastapols are also fantastic parents, and both mom and dad will raise and care for the goslings.

Sebastapols lay only about 25-35 eggs per year. So every egg counts and we try hard to provide as many goslings as we can each year, but often have only a small amount available. So if you have an interest in these beautiful, friendly fowl, please reach out early so we can try and get you some!

Assorted Chicks
April/May
Chickens are such a wonderful staple on any farm or even backyard! They are easy keepers, mostly hardy, great at keeping bugs down, and generally very proficient layers, providing delicious, nutritious, protein packed farm fresh eggs throughout the year!

We have a variety of chickens on our farm, but we only produce chicks with a few of our breeds. We select our layers for chicks based on desirable traits, such as laying capability, breed temperament, unique colors of eggs, and more.
Some of the breeds we hope to be offering this year are Black Copper Marans, Olive Eggers (BCM x Ameracuana), Silkies, Bantam Cochins and some fun intentionally planned hybrid mixed chicks.

Kune Kune Pigs
May/June
Kune Kune Pigs are a docile breed known for their smaller size and signature look; furred bodies; large forward ears; and flatter faces and snouts. They are low rooters, which makes them easier on your land. Their furred bodies makes them hardy, easy keepers, even through cold winter months. And their smaller size and slower growth makes them ideal for small family farms.

We love this breed for their docile temperament, manageable size, and easy keeping. They also make wonderful pasture pets and companion animals on the farm. They are great for eating down the garden leavings in fall, and making good use of healthy table scraps too.
Baby Bunnies
March/April/May/June/July
We breed our rabbits throughout the year, but we intentionally breed to have more baby bunnies available in the spring and summer months. Generally that is a more natural time for them to have babies, and we often have more demand in those months. So, keep your eyes out for our cute bunnies to come hopping across the page soon!
